Recess Measurement:
The recess measurement denotes the dimensions by which a shower enclosure is inserted into or removed from the tub rim to improve watertightness. For mounting onto shower tray, the recess measurement (7-25 mm, depending on the product) is automatically taken into consideration during manufacturing.
Flat Ground Installation and Standard Order Dimensions:
When installing on flat ground, the shower enclosure is mounted directly on the tiled floor without a shower tray.
For standard orders, the actual dimensions of the shower enclosure are smaller than the ordered dimensions due to the above described recess measurement. For example, a SWING-LINE swing door with side panel ordered at 900 x 900 mm will have actual dimensions of 870 x 870 mm.
